New Recognition of Deutsche Bank


2010 was the third year in a row for Deutsche Bank to award Komercijalna Banka with the recognition for STP (Straight-Through Processing), for the remarkable and fully automated payment transactions with this globally reputable banking institution.

Each year Deutsche Bank awards the recognition to one of the banks with which it cooperates on the local banking market.    


Recognition for Outstanding Service Quality in International Payments


Societe Generale Bank Paris awarded Komercijalna Banka with the Excellence in Euro Payments recognition: 95% STP Rate in the Year of 2010, for exceptionally high level of service quality and outstanding rating in the STP (Straight-Through Processing) international payments. The professional team of Komercijalna Banka achieved the STP rate of 95% in the transactions executed with this financial institution. The Excellence in Euro Payments award for 2010 on our market was also given to the Societe Generale Serbia, which achieved the rate of 93%.

On the traditional annual award ceremony of UEPS, "the Bank in its prime" was declared the best promotional campaign, whereas the campaign under the name "40 good things" was declared the best socially responsible campaign. Komercijalna Banka is very proud of the two prestigious awards, which were awarded by the Association of Serbian Economic Advertisers (UEPS). 308 campaigns competed for the traditional annual awards of UEPS. Among the twenty tree campaigns that competed, created by nine marketing agencies, the campaign "Bank in its prime age" won the gold award for the best profit promotional campaign. Also, among the ten campaigns of six marketing agencies, in the category of the best socially responsible campaign, the first place and another gold was won by our campaign "40 good things". Both campaigns were for the same occasion, 40 years of Komercijalna Banka’s business; they were created by marketing agency Leo Burnett. UEPS was founded in 1960 by a group of enthusiasts and fans of the profession, in order to promote it. Today UEPS is a modern organization whose primary task is to promote and improve the marketing and advertising profession that is present in all segments of the economy and society. The Association gathers the most successful marketing agencies, the largest companies that invest in advertising and large media. Association of Serbian Economic Advertisers awards its traditional recognitions to the most successful agencies and individuals each year on December 21st, the Day of Serbian Advertisers, for the professional results they achieve in the year before. UEPS gives more than twenty awards to the most deserving agencies, among which the most important are those awarded for the best promotional campaigns, the best TV and radio advertisement, the best outdoor campaign, the best print campaigns, the best design, publishing, the best socially responsible campaign and many other special awards.
The award-winning campaign on the account of 40 years of Komercijalna Banka’s business was called symbolically "the Bank in its prime". Accordingly, the main theme of our campaign included everything that characterizes a 40-year old – maturity, reliability, experience, strength, efficiency. At the same time, the focus of the awarded campaign was on the people, because the bank is primarily made of people – employees of the Bank and those who confide in it on a daily basis. That is why the "Bank in its prime" campaign created for the Bank’s 40th birthday focuses on the people’s faces and their impressions about our bank.
We invested the same emotion and energy in the "40 good things" campaign, the socially responsible activity throughout the country, which was also recognized by the members of the jury, thus resulting in the best CSR project for 2010 award. 


„Belgrade Winner" to Komercijalna Banka 

For an outstanding contribution to development of our economy, and especially for the results achieved in 2010, the jury for awarding annual prizes of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce awarded Komercijalna Banka with the traditional "Belgrade Winner" award.

On a nicely created ceremony organized at the Great Hall of the "Sava" Centre, Deputy President of the Executive Board, Mr. Dragan Santovac received the award. Mr. Santovac stressed that it belonged to all employees and customers of Komercijalna Banka, since the bank was their synergy, which fully justifies our motto "the bank closest to me" and contributed for Komercijalna Banka to remain so successful and stable.
